		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m a young artist and I still think this is not supposed to work out. You can&#039;t offer $350,000 on an appraised $2.4 million, even if they are only asking half that. That&#039;s just not financially viable for the city.

However, I do think that Raleigh needs a place like this. An affordable residency for artists would really help the city. As &quot;Uncle Jesse&quot; said, &#039;follow the artists and you&#039;ll find the up-and-coming areas of the city&#039;.

But this is clearly not the building if the offer is going to be this low.]]></description>
