And unlike the current mayor he has a straightforward, common sense approach to governance. He will represent all of Raleigh not just downtown. Six of the eight current city council members live within a 2-mile radius of downtown. This is unexceptable. Our "Debt Services" expenditures have more than doubled since Meeker has been in office and yet he continues to raise our taxes and spend it on his projects like the failing convention center.
